Web Gis Portal for pipeline monitoring
The water pipeline connection to households is one of the important aspect of administration. A survey carried out by the World Health Organization found that the total water loss due to leakage in India is approximately 20-35% of the total flow in the system[1]. The pipeline leak leads to water contamination. Knowledge on the spatial distribution of leaks can help the urban administration to do the needful at those particular areas.
Satyukt has a strong team to develop web based maps to show such spatial information. The web based map helps the user to know the leak area and the pipeline information gives a clear picture about the leaks. Additional data such as wards and population information gives the amount of population which will be affected. A Web GIS map creates insights by a few simple clicks from within the dashboard.
