If we can answer questions like how? when? how often? and how big? for any natural calamity then we can very well be prepared for the future. We at Satyukt, try to predict earthquakes for future years based on historical events.

Additional features of our cat-quake platform are presented below:

Our cat-quake (www.cat-model.com) platform provides the following outputs in an interactive manner:
  • Average Annual Loss (AAL) at different granularity
  • Earthquake hazard for different return periods ranging from 10 to 50,000 years
  • Exceedance Probability curve for losses
  • Probable maximum loss (PML)
    Key Functionalities:
  • Analysis based on the latest available Earthquake catalog
  • Simulations for 50,000 years
  • Latest state-of-art attenuation functions based on academic research
  • The information is available at a granularity of 1 km
  • Latest data for the distribution of economic exposure
  • Model is validated against key historical events
