How to be sure that the Crop Sowing Window chosen really works?

As far as a traditional farmer for sowing crops he will fully rely on his previous experience. But in many cases, he can foresee certain natural elements well before time and use in his favor. Here at Satyukt, we make this possible by doing a combined analysis of NDVI (Vegetation Index)  and SM (Soil Moisture) and hence help to decide the chosen sowing window is best for the crop or not.

The above study is done for Dwarka district in Gujarat. Dwarka has received close to normal rainfall from 15th June 10th August 2019. The soil moisture is found to be increasing in both the districts during the second phase of analysis whereas NDVI, which denotes the health of the crop is decreasing. It is observed that during this period rainfall is increased, which must have created an inundation (rising and spreading of water) over the farms and which must have affected the health of crops.
