High-resolution soil moisture can be retrieved using MAPSM ³(Tomer et al., 2016) algorithm, developed at Satyukt Analytics employing satellite sensed data in near real-time. The map has been prepared by Satyukt as an attempt to make hydrologic data understandable to the public. The map above depicts a welcome change in the soil moisture for the state for the month of September 2019. As evident, the state has sumptuous soil moisture which may be a result of of the record-breaking rainfall in 100 years received in the state⁴.
